help help help

I am stuck with a shocking problem.

Having exited the Underdark I wander into the compound with Elhan who asks his suspicious questions and sets me on Bohdi.

As soon as this conversation finished my party was approached by Revianne (the Harper woman) who has a rant at Jaheira for betraying the Harpers. This starts a fight. Which Elhan and his mates join in.

I used my tried an trusted technique of running away and then went about my business of finishing a few quests I didn’t do before entering the Underdark and also go and kill Bohdi as per the quest for Elhan.

However I don’t seem to be able to finish that quest and progress in the game as every time I return to Elhan with Bohdis heart and the relic he wants I get cut to peices by the War Mages and the Harper party.

That bloody Revianne woman started on me and I have ended up with Elhan and his buddies’ permanently hostile towards me.

Is there a way to progress without dealing with Elhan? How do I solve this problem.

Any help would be superb.

Hmm, If you have a gamesvaed earlier you can try and boot Jaheira from your party before thoose noosey harpers get around messing people up. I have had similiar problems with the harpers comming and messing around in dialouges and getting important characters go mayhem on me.. :S A bad scripting I would say. You could try perhaps to use the cheat to get away from the elves with the ctrl+j and go to another area before they appear...

Otherwise I´m afraid that you might have to deal with the discussion in another matter and scrifice Jaheira.. :S

I had that problem, it was extremely annoying, the only way I managed it was to run away VERY quickly before they went red, though ditching Jaheira would probably work, and would be a respite from her self-righteous nagging.

Thanks for the suggestions. I found the answer to this specific problem in anouther message thread. Using the cheat codes you can summon Elhan into anouther game area where he appear as a neutral. You have to run though all the dialouge with him again but you can then give him the relic (lantern?) and get teleported into the next chapter of the game.

It is shame that you have to cheat to get past a hole in the coding.

I am going to try it tonight and hopefully will be on my way.
