My character had reached a point where he whould no longer gain exp. is there a way or a patch that could help with this? thx.

Yes, there is. The EXP-cap remover is the most 'famous' and most saught-after tweak, so you arent the first to ask about this.

You can also install TOB that will raise the XP cap at 8000000.
