i think i found a better mage then a sorcerer!

i know this is probably just a personal choice...

but i think edwin IS better then a sorcerer!
it's true, a sorcerer is more flexible and can cast divination spells, but come on... 2 extra spell per level!!

that's 8 (!) 9th level spells instead of 6...
what do you think?

Yeah, Edwin is really cool, and a very good mage.
I think it's his necklace that makes him have all those spells, though.

Hi Alson,

Yep, his necklace means he's a Red Wizard of Thaay which gives him bonus spells per level. IMO, I think spells per level doesn't really matter to a mage too much in the later levels of the game, thanks to:

Project Image and Wish. Project image is awesome, as it gives you up to 7 (depending on class) instances of the image which allows you to cast all other spells 7 times more! Wish allows you to effectively rest, even mid battle!

I agree with Sir Exxon.
I can't believe Edwin can get so many spells on 9 lv without an item.
But personaly I don't like Edwin because Minsc Rules with spacehamster Boo and if I have the both of them in my team I have a little problem. But minsc hates Edwin and what Minsc hates i hate.
