Notes, Tips & Tricks:
- Polymorph'd monster attacks count as single handed weapons. Putting a point of proficiency in "Single Handed Weapon" skill will reduce your armour class while transformed and give you double critical hits. Very helpful for Druids (especially Avengers and Shapeshifters) and Fighters or Thieves who intend to dual to Mage. The exception to this is the Fire Salamander transformation, which is a Two-Handed Weapon.
- Bard Songs: While the Skald's song is best at low-level, it only works if he's nearby. Any bard's upgraded battle song is better than the Skald's best and will work for all players, no matter where they are. This feat means that there is no song-related disadvantage to being a Blade. Haer'Dalis is actually a valuable part of my high-level troupe.
- Mage: Put "Outiquei's Resiliant Sphere" in your Contingency for "Helpless". Alternately just cast it on yourself and use your body as a blocker for mind flayers, dragons, vampires, etc. in narrow hallways.
- Multi-class vs. Dual-class: Multi-class characters get Feats at half the level of single-class characters! Dualing causes your experience to be reset to zero, so your earlier experience gets ignored. A triple-class (fighter/mage/{thief,cleric}) probably gets their feats at 1/3 level. I'm going to try SoA as a F/M/T to find out for sure!
- Bards get to set traps! Taking a trap feat automatically gives the bard a 100% Set Trap skill! Amazing. Haer'Dalis looks better all the time.[/list]
