I took off the XP cap and installed the lvl40
rules in BG2. ToB was supposed to take off any extra levels but it hasn't. Most of my party is level 19/20. I have missed out on a few new abilities. I can't use Shadow Keeper because it saids after the load bar: " shadowkeeper was unable to read the SoA resources. shadowkeeper must be able to find these files to work properly. Make sure the Installation path has been set to the correct dir and restart Shadow Keeper." Can anyone help as I have set the dir correct. Since ToB installed I can't use Shadow Keeper. Is there any other way of leveling DOWN? Set a low XP through codes doesn't work anymore. Is level drain the only way, unless you can tell me what to do to get SK working(can't load it). |

Well, if it's any consolation the missing special abilities should be added when you level up the next time.
I did this same thing the first time through, and though for a long time I thought I lost out on levels it had actually just made up those extra levels when I first leveled up. ------------------ trux |

That's right. You and I have missed out on the high-level abilities for PREVIOUS levels, but we can still get them for later ones

ToB does NOT remove any extra levels. Try downloading the most up to date version of Shadowkeeper, I think it's 2.1.2.
