Sometimes I like to zip over to see my coordinates, add a killer sword, slug down a super healing potion, or whatever...however, the CTRL + Spacebar key are not opening the Console window. This is a new install of SOA and TOB due to a new harddrive, currently no patches. Baldur.ini has Cheats=1 under [Game Options] and Debug Mode=1 under [Program Options]. Swapped keyboards still won't work. I used this method while playing SOA with no problems, am I forgetting something????????????
Config: AMD Thunderbird 1.2 GHz, 256 mg. DDR memory, Sound Blaster Live, Creative Annihilator II (video), Windows 98. Used same video card, sound card and Windows 98 config with SOA. Any ideas? Thanks in advance. |

This probably won't help, but you DO NOT need Cheats=1 under Game Option.

Thanks but I just added Cheats=1 in a desperate attempt to try anything! It didn't work before or after I added it.

Maybe just a simple typing error when you wrote in debug mode. I had this happen.

O.K. My face is really red!!!!!!!!!! I checked my harddrives and I have a total of 5 baldur.ini files. When I changed the right one, it works great. Thanks for the help!
