What's going to happen to my char after this?

Well finally finished ToB,had a very enjoyable time. As it ends, my heart felt kind of sad as I forsee the Char I created since BG1 is coming to an end. Even though there's kit upgrades for the fighters in BG2 I didn't use it for my Char. I have keep him original and watched him progress from lvl 1 to lvl 35! From whelp to Dragon! Unless I replay it all over and over again I don't forsee any new BG expansion or BG3 which let us import our char in. Too powerful!
I had this feeling too in Planescape Torment. Another great game!
My fighter will be exported and saved in a safe place knowing very well I have a very powerful char in the D&D CRPG.

I had the same feeling from my original BG character... even though I changed a few things through the course of my fighter/thief. I started him out as an archer type and by the end of BG2 he was a dual wielding razor blade.

But rest assure, Neverwinter Nights will allow you to import your BG2 character. But you'll have to change him for 3rd edition rules.
