SPOILERS Watchers Keep Final Task

I have,thanks to Sunder, overcome the final wave of guardians and can now unlock the final seal. I am at this point confused as to what I must do.
Should I unlock the final seal or merely read the ritual scroll?
Should I unlock the seal and then read the ritual scroll?
Should I unlock the last seal and kill off whatever (everyone knows huh?) appears?
I play a Lawful Good undead hunter so I want to keep in character and do the right thing,I just have no idea what to do next. Any help much appreciated.

Well, first the main thing to do is experiment. You have a saved game, simply go ahead and open the seal and see what happens. With a saved game you can always reload if you run into problems, there is no need to be cautious about anything with a computer game.

The final seal doesn't summon more monsters, it simply opens the portal to the 6th level of the dungeon where your last quests await. So open the last seal, enter the portal, and continue on.

unlock the seal, but then read the ritual scroll. pick up the 100k or so quest exp points(per person). then, go talk to the Imprisoned One. kill him off, and get ANOTHER 100k quest exp points. i must say, though, i wasnt impressed at all by him. took more reloads to kill some of the other Bhallspawns than it did him.
