Mad

If you import a MC mage (mage/thief for example) will you be offered the option to be a Wild mage/thief?

Multiclass? No. Never. And there is nothing you can do about it. Dual class might be a different matter, but I am not certain.

It's not possible for 2 reasons:

1) A multiclass character cannot have a kit.

2) Wild Mage is not considered a mage kit but a separate class.

Also a Wild Mage is not allowed to dual class.
I am sure it can be done with SK, although I believe that it would be useless since a Wild Mage becomes really powerful at high levels.

A Wild Mage can dual-class using the G3 Tweak mod. But no, the only multiclass characters that can have kits are gnome illusionist/whatevers.

Really, there 't much point to dual classing a Wild Mage. Seriously, do you really *need* more power with a Wild Mage? I think not.

Two things. First, they are specialist mages without an opposition school, so they get 1 extra spell per level, and no spells are inaccessible. Second, wild surges are tilted towards being positive, especially when you consider the Chaos Shields, and can be absolutely devastating when they happen (which, granted is not reliable.) They're also just a lot of fun to play, generally.

First, the way wild surges are calculated is that a random number between 1-100 is chosen. The higher the number, the better the result tends to be (twice as powerful, longer duration, etc.)

Chaos shield and improved chaos shield are spells exclusive to wild mages, that give you bonuses to your wild surge numbers. I don't remember the specific numbers, but that's the essence of them. They're level 2 and 7 (I think) spells, respectively.
