Melissan is not appearing after I defeat Gromnir. I found a bug report that claimed this would occur if I used the Quicksave, but I tried a new game with no Quicksave, and the same problem reappeared. Is there any solution to this, or should I just start TOB over?

Make sure you killed the thief that goes invisible as well. Try using area spells (ADHW or Dragon Breath) and spells to dispel invisibility.

When I restarted the game, before I could even go back to Gromnir's throne room, Melissan appeared. Now, however, I'm having the same problem with a new SOA game I started. Characters will refuse to speak to be; sometimes I can fix it by restarting the game, or reentering the area, but sometimes not. Is there a patch for SOA with TOB installed that I should be using? I can only recall hearing of a patch for SOA. Will this still work if I have TOB installed?

I'd hate you to get frustrated and 'throw in the towel' on arguably one of the best computer games ever produced over a technical hitch that's already been patched! Enjoy! [img]smile.gif[/img]
