possible invicibility?

i remember an old post of how to get very high physical and magical resistances, by using a dual-class or multi-class fighter/thief (defender of eastheaven, jan's armor, purifier, etc), but i dont remember the exact items. Can anyone help me???

There's a few items/abilities to consider:

Ronachs Horn (Tob, +50% blunt)
Hardiness (ToB, requires warrior, +40% resistance to all physical damage)
Jans Armour (Requires ToB for UAI, +25% to all physical damage)
Cloak of mirroring (+100% magic damage)
DoE (Requires bonus merchants, +20% slashing/piercing/blunt)
Armour of Faith (Cleric/Ranger/Paladin/Druid(?), eventually +25% to all physical/elemental/magical damage)
Belt of intertial barrier (+25% missile, +50% magic damage)
Barbarian innate resistances (+20% cap)
ToB bonuses from Ascension (potential +25% resistance to all physical)
Also worth considering Cavalier for elemental resistances and poison, and Tear of Bhaal +20% elemental resistances if good

AFAIK remeber the old guys here (dundee and sos + alson etc) managed to get a combo of class/items + skills to become invincible without cheesing or cheating..
