Watcher's Keep Questions

Hi all, no spoilers...just random questions.

I am doing Watcher's Keep and am having dialogue problems. When I talk to someone the questions are not even remotely close to what they are supposed to be. The dialogue options are similar to what I might find with Cromwell, Cespernar or in a store. I have the following installed...

SoA, ToB, ToB patch and Baldurdash
Dungeon Be Gone
parts of Unfinished Business
parts of Ashes to Embers
parts of Ease of Use
Item Upgrade
Ruad
Unrepresented Items
Kelsey
Kitanya (oddly who I can't find after removing her for a bit. LOL)
Solafein

I think that is all (I'm at work...can't check). Also, I am not sure if this is related, but when I go to Cromwell I do not have the option to "create" the items he normally creates, rather I just have the option to upgrade items I have found along the way.

Anyway, if anyone could provide any insight I would be very appreciative. I tried searching for answers, but it was rather fruitless (either to many hits or none).

Some of the mods may have corrupted your files. Did you install the mods in the correct order or look to see if there are any compatability issues.

Does it only happen in Watchers Keep? If so a search of the Throne of Bhaal forums may turn soemthing up

Replace your dialogue.tlk file and then re-install the patches/mods in the correct order.

Well, I guess that is better than reinstalling the game. The order of installation is confusing to me re: mods. I found a guide on the weidu forum...so hopefully that will work.

It is a bit complicated. I am having problems atm and have given up for the minute. I expect this forum might be seeing another 'I can't get the mods to work' thread soon [img]smile.gif[/img] Sorry Guys!

Its odd, because they are all weidu mods and with them installed the game won't even start properly, just a balck screen. I'm putting it down to my computer being well past its sell by date, but i would have expected crashes when trying to load a file, rather than the game not starting at all.

Well, I replaced my dialogue.tlk file and uninstalled all of my mods and reinstalled them and the same problem persists. So, I guess I am left with again uninstalling the mods and reinstalling the game. After reinstalling, I know I have to install the official patch and baldurdash fixpack...but am unsure on the mods. I will be installing the following and if anyone has suggestions as to an order the comments would be welcome.

Dungeon be Gone
Unfinished Business
Ease of Use
Underrepresented Items
Solaufein
Kelsey
Kitanya
Improved Oasis II
Quest
Ashes to Embers

I would like to try Item Upgrade, but when I had it before I was not able to get Cromwell to create any of the items he normally creates. From what I have found, Solaufein needs to be installed prior to installing Kelsey and Ashes to Embers needs to be installed last.

One final question, would I need to start a new game once I do this or should I be able to load my saved game?

Anyway, thanks for any help in advance.

Umm well there is somewhere, on one of the stickies i think a list of the order mods should be installed in. Loading the saved game may cause problems. All i can say is try it and see.
