i have read that you can loose stats permanantly i am aware of this as i lost 1 wisdom in chapter -4- i think. and apparently you can loose one in chapter 7. i assume this was in hell wher you can either sacrifice your self or somebody in your party. i sacrificed my party member, so im evil, shoot me... anyway is there anyway to increase a stat? say dex to 19 from 18 because you do gown 1 AC i think [ 02-16-2005, 05:59 AM: Message edited by: timothy trotter ]

"Shadowkeeper" is a character editing tool that will do what you want, I believe. Do a search, you'll find it.

Uh, Timothy, this could just be me going over the top again, but i'd put spoiler tags before talking about Chapter 7. I always put spoiler tags, alot of the time when they're not strictly needed, but i would deffinatly put one there...
[EDIT] Also, shadow keeper can be used to change stats, it's an editer that you can use for all sorts, like giving your character items, changing their stats and life, saves, etc. [ 02-16-2005, 04:37 AM: Message edited by: TheGodThatFailed ]

Aah, in that case, no there's not, not without items that raise then to a certain number, like the Ring of human influence. There are books in BG1 that raise your stats by one point, but that's of no use here. So, no, there's no way of raising them back up without items.

Yes, there is.
Massive SoA spoilers # # # # Just before the final battle with Johnny-boy, some of your stats can get increased when you use the Tears of Bhaal depending on the paths you took. Specifics can be found here [ 02-16-2005, 07:43 AM: Message edited by: shamrock_uk ] |

Remain confident in the knowledge that the game balances itself out. You lose something, you gain something else.
Or just use Shadowkeeper to put all your stats at 25 and call it a day. Your call.

If you have TOB, there is a way to boost every one of your stats by 1. There is also an item there that may enable you to boost your primary stat ie strength for a fighter.
