Heyas everyone
Alright, I have played through the game many times now and never experienced this problem before: Whenever I try to ask one of my party members, or my own characters to detect traps or cast a spell it does it for about 5 seconds and then it cuts off detecting or closes the spell selection menu, and then wont allow me to open it back up again or wont let me detect traps unless I open up my inventory or character sheet etc... then switch back to game mode. I have the following installed: Shadows of Amn Throne of Bhaal Throne of Bhaal Patch Baldurdash Kelsey SoA & ToB Unfinished Business Apack Song and Silence Gibberlings Three Anniversary Mod Banter Pack v5 Has anyone else experience this problem before? Is there a solution? Thanks for the help --Kestrel--

Is the AI on or off ?
Do you have any scripts assigned to those characters ?

The AI is on, and there are no scripts assigned to anyone.

If it doesn't do it with the AI off then there is something wrong with the scripts.
Doublecheck that all of the characters have the scripts turned off. (IIRC go into the Character screen, click customize, click scripts and make sure none are assigned)

Right, ok. There are no scripts on at all, and it does it still, even with the AI off, aswell as on.

Are you using a Logitech wireless keyboard? |

Kestrel, do a search on 'logitech' and 'cordless'. Apparently some cordless devices play havoc with BG.
