I know this is cheating, but i just fancy having an insainly powerfull character for once ( ).

I would like to know, is it possible to get permanent improved alacrity (sp?) through use of a ring or changing a flag on your character via shadow keeper etc?

Always wanted to be able to cast like gorrion on the first bg .

You can use ShadowKeeper to change the BhaalSpawn Abilities your character recieves. You can also change the number of times per day you get to use each ability.

I created a CE Jester named "Joker" (yes, from the Batman comics). I wanted to add "Poison Weapon" to his Spawn Abilities, so another member told me how to use SK to accomplish this.

Just open your game file, then go into your character's profile. Under "Abilities" (I think), click on "Add Spell". Scroll down the list till you find Improved Alacrity. Once you add it to your abilities, you will be able to choose how often you can use that ability each day.

So while you can't get the ability "permanently", you CAN add it and make it available several times per day to basically provide the same effect.

Permanently?

If it wasn't permanent, I'm sure it's possible to do that. While I don't encourage cheating in any way, shape, or form, mind you, I'll take this as a challenge.

If you want, I'll see if I can make it for you... but expect it to have some adverse side effects.

Just use NearInfinity. Go and open your BG .gam file via NearInfinity, then double click on your character and say edit. Scroll to the bottom of the edit page where there is a field titled CRE and then the .cre file it uses to keep track of that character. Open it and say Add... Effect. The effect should be Spells Cast Per Round, with an abbreviation or two in there. Set the spells cast per round to -1, or just a really high number, like 30. Then save it and load your game. In theory, that should work.
