Possible to get all spells?

I have seen the list of all of the spells that there are in BG (lacking TOTSC) and I think there is 66. Is it possible to get all of these spells in the game without cheating at all? ie are they are somewhere in the game?

I don't think you can get monster summoning III but that's without TOTSC installed so...

There is no question but that a mage can fill his spellbook with every available spell, as long as you know where to find them. The shops should have most of them, the only question would be the location of the hard-to-find ones. I don't think I have ever seen a comprehensive list of the locations of all the mage spell scrolls that are littered throughout the game.

The one spell that appears to be the most elusive is one of the Polymorph spells ... polymorph other I think. I've never seen a listed, verified location for that spell. All of the others are definitely obtainable in the game.

Along with Polymorph Other, I've never seen Cone of Cold, Wraith Form, or Animate Dead, although I've heard that you CAN find every scroll with DSotSC.

I'll have to double check an old save to be sure. I could have sworn those three spells in my mages spell book. But I'll be darned if I can remember where they came from.

Thanks for that guys. I love my mages [img]tongue.gif[/img] and when I first played through the game not doing all the side quests, I found I came out without many interesting spells. So I am trying to do it again playing as many side quests as possible.

Good Luck. Like I said, I am not 100% sure about those other three spells as I haven't played TotSC in a LONG time!

I do not remember the location of polymorph other, cone of cold or animate dead.

But wraith form is found at firewind bridge.. on a "person".......
