I got stuck on this playing through the game because I couldn't get past the shadow door. Had a look at some FAQs and realised that I've killed the friendly ghosts that give me a piece of the thing I need to get past the door.
I guess I've screwed it so is it possible to cheatinly resurrect them somehow or cheatingly get hold of the thing to get past the door? |

Did you force attack them? IIRC they don't attack you when you walk in.
Also if you... SPOILER ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ...place the bones in the container in the room the ghosts were in it should summon someone
