Archer question

I was wondering what the archer is to do when he/she encounters a monster that requires a +4 (or more) to hit? If i remember correctly, the arrows fired from a bow determine what it can and cant hit. This being said, what do you archers do out there when this happens? If you need to spoil me with equipment, go right ahead [img]smile.gif[/img] thanks!

For the few encounters where it is needed, the Short Bow of Gesen fires +4 phantom arrows.

Sling of Everard, excellent +5 weapon that doesn't require bullets (it shots +5 bullets).

Archers are capable of melee too... They may not be excellent at it, but they are still decent in melee.

True, an archer can do pretty well in melee, but a ranger would be better for melee.

You let your melee fighter have a go at killing something instead of your archer taking all the kills

Weeeell... Archers are Rangers. Unless you meant a vanilla Ranger.

I was referring to the Ranger: Archer kit that it is best with bows and the true Ranger kit is better for melee.
