First try and I beat the living snot out of the Improved Jon Irenicus! Okay, okay... it was not that easy and I did have a few scares, but hey! No reloads needed! Woot!

4 Pages of Screenshots

This concludes the SoA journey for Odin Magnus, my second solo Sorcerer. Onward to ToB.

Excellent, Dundee! Who (or what) is Odin's next mark?

Hahaha, the mighty irenicus killed by a dagger made by some low level apprenti! That was quite a battle you had there dundee! Is the improved irenicus on its own or part of a larger mod? Got the link for it, my solo sorc is going to be heading that way soon.

I plan to do Watcher's Keep before striking Yaga-Shura. I want to get the last component of my dream equipment, the Netheril Circlet.

Improved Irenicus is part of the Tactics Mod. You may install it separately from the rest of the components.

Well done!
It is a fun fight, isn't it?
A truly tactical one...

Have you read my walkthrough in the README?
I had the privilege of being one of the first who beaten it (2nd try), so Weimer included my battle story in the README.

Fun, although I raised an eyebrow for the second round, as I was not expecting to fight "naked". I entered this fight blind, and I originally thought that there was only one round. It came as quite a shock when I found out there were three rounds.

Heh... at least my original plan came to bear fruit. That Spell Trigger with 3 Feebleminds was specially made for this fight. I just find it evil to knock them all out and poke them to death with my own personal weapon. I mean hey! I found a use for the Dagger of ~insert PC name~. How many players actually bother keeping it, let alone use it?

I did not read any walkthrough, not that I knew they even existed. The basic tactic for the last 2 rounds was very simple though... ...

1) Lower Resistance
2) Greater Malison
3) Feeblemind
4) Laugh and punch/poke him to death

Feeblemind rocks.
