Elf romancing Viconia

Is there a way to start the romance with Viconia if you are an elf?
I want to make a multi-class char, so I can't be human you see [img]smile.gif[/img]

Viconia can't romance elves normally. I'd suggest you be a half elf, they can multiclass and Viconia can romance them [img]smile.gif[/img]

If you you really want to be an elf an romance her maybe you could use shadow keeper, but I'm no expert on it.

Hmm, are you sure half-elves can romance her? Im pretty sure i tried that without succes a long time ago.. it IS a long time ago though... [img]smile.gif[/img]

My half-elf Fighter, Galidor, did.

As for SK, i think I did use it to have the Vic romance with my elf.

Only male humans and half-elves can romance Viconia without tweaking.
There is a way to use Shadowkeeper to turn on the Viconia romance, but it's not always reliable. I'm not sure if you want that, or if you'd rather try again with an elf. And I think there's a mod out there that will help you, though I have no idea which. I have an idea, but I don't want to say it. Perhaps someone else knows more.

Halflings can too.

Actually, not that many people know Halflings can romance the three official female choices it seems...

I wonder if a Halfling can romance Anomen...

I'm pretty sure Half-Orcs can as well. The easiest way to "cheat in" a romance is not by using ShadowKeeper to insert the appropriate variables, but rather by starting your character as a "valid" romanceable race &, right after the game starts, using SK to change your race.

So, start off as a Half-Elf, then SK yourself into an Elf. The appropriate variables (VICONIAMATCH, etc.) are set upon character creation, not upon meeting Viconia.

Viconia: human, half-elf, halfling
Anomen: human half-elf elf halfling
Jaheira: human half-elf elf halfling
Aerie: human half-elf elf halfling gnome

FWIW, I started a new game as a Male Half-Orc Barbarian to check & my VICONIAMATCH = 1. I don't have any of the Romance-affecting Ease of Use components installed (& Aerie, Jaheira, & Anomen don't show up as options).

So it looks like only Dwarves get scr... uh, the shaf... uh... the short end of the stick? [img]smile.gif[/img]
