I'm soloing a sorceress now and made a spell choice at level 13 that i'm not happy with. i chose emotion and i dont like it, at all, so far i've managed to get a sword spider to miss it's save and thats it... i'm level 20 or something now but i'm thinkin about replacing it with wizards eye. granted i can choose it soon anyway but if there is an easy way to change this (using SK or something) i would like to do so.

Anyone got an idea on this?

yes, i am somewhat following dundees recomended spell thingie and it's great, but emotion is IMHO a bad spell...

would you consider this cheating? well i know its cheating but is it that bad?
i can really do without using that slot but it would make the game so much more fun if i could use wizards eye...

It is a good spell, but you NEED to have greater malison take effect first.

yes i realize that, but that takes to much time and i would be better of using wizards eye since it has a purpouse i cant replace with other spells, but i think i'll wait till i can pick it anyways...

to save time, use a spell sequencer loaded with GM and Emotion+something else. But if you really dont like the spell, sure, you can use Shadowkeeper to change it(the wizards eye is actually quite the essential spell for a sorc. when soloing, that is.), though i would throw something else away instead of emotion. It CAN turn the tide of battle when used correctly.

Now you can probably see why the sorc is really meant for veterans whom know the spells inside and out...

well i do know quite a bit about the spells... though i know more about BG1...

and i manage quite well without wizards eye...

and i will wait two or three levels for wizards eye to become available...

i had never used emotion before but now i find it easely replacable...

but if i want to use it(emotion) in a sequencer, how am i suposed to make GM hit first?

malison, emotion, emotion...

just put the first spell you want to hit first...

I believe you put GM in first before Emotion. It goes off in a sequence, meaning spell one hits first before spell two, if I remember correctly. But let the more experienced spell-casters confirm/wreck my guess.

I think that a spell trigger's spells are released at once, and travel at their normal speeds - Greater Mallison travels rather slowly, and, from memory, emotion travels rather quickly... meaning that the Emotions will hit before the Greater Mallison regardless of the order of them. So, set up the trigger with 3x Emotion, or maybe put in some Lower Resistances, cast Greater Mallison, and release the trigger the second Mallison hits.
