I've been reading through the forums and I bumped into a ToB post that mentioned something about being able to get more than 5 summoned monsters onto the field.

Spoilers...

Now I know what I'm asking has a lot of cheese in it, but I'm curious. I know you use Simulacrum and Project Image, but is there an order they have to be done in to do it?

And to add a little bit more to this thread, in your personal opinions, what is the best animal/monster summoning available? I would go with the Greater Bearwere, it has helped me a great deal with battles in the past. Best summoning to have in a battle with wizards or otherwise.

Naturally Planetars get my vote...
But for sheer power for your casting effort, Skeleton Warriors have to get a nod.
They have MR and are resistant to physical damage... Assuming nobody turns undead, you have a small army at your command.
Even if it's a bit... evil.. to animate the dead.

Dundee can probably tell you more. He's the one who turned me on to the Many Vitrues of Skeleton Warriors.

The Aerial Servant would be my favourite. He isn't bestowed with any nifty features like the physical immunity of Mordies, or the extreme MR of the Skeleton Warrior, there's really nothing that special about him at all. He just happens to possess the most wicked punch in the game. Comparing only pure hit power, not even the Planetar can match him, though the Planetar is for a lot of other reasons the superior fighter. The only summon that hits harder is Sunnis, the Earth Elemental Prince, though being second to him aint a shame.

Nothing like the satisfaction of seeing your Aerial Servant chunkifying a foe with an 80 dmg critical.

I'd like to take this moment to tout the virtues of the Wand of Fodder, especially against Tactics Mages. Sure, almost all of them have Death Spells, but they tend not to use if if they can see a party member, and it's fun to watch the interchange:
Mage- Ha ha ha HAAAA! I have Spell Immunity: Abjuration, so you can't remove my Protection from Magic Weapons! You poor pitiful FOOLS!!!
Imoen- (waves a little stick)
5 Gnoll Slashers- GrrrrRAWF!
Mage- Aw crap!

Not a very good example to use, SixOfSpades, as Spell Immunity:Abjuration will not protect against Breach for example.

However, the point gets across I think.

Well, whether or not SI:Abj will block Breack or not, I don't think anyone will debate the point that it certainly should.

So just pretend I said "Improved Invisibility and SIiv" instead.

If you use the Limited Wish spell to summon a horde to overrun your enemies, you get a special horde.

I got 20 bunnies...

Those 20 bunnies are very deadly when used correctly.
