How long can I not go down to the tomb whit out korgan leaving me? in previous games I just say when he askes: weel go there soon (or som thing like that) but does he ever leav?

Not long

I find doing the korgan quest sraight after losing Imoen is the hardest quest. Even just starting the visit to the graveyard does not pacify him, only finding the correct tomb.

Who do you have in your party? maybe you could try the quest?

yes he will leave within a few days if you do not help him. He is very grumpy

I only have him and me and iam getting cernd.
I have done the quest before but i wanted do go through underdark first.but i guees il just have to do the quest.

I reccomend doing this quest before you to the underdark. Also getting him equipped with a decant axe is a very good idea

aka a certain ice axe. what is weird however is that i never did his quest until after the underdark, and he didnt leave. he did leave my party however because i had too high reputation (17 or whatever)

i just kept replying to him the same thing just as you have.

I think when you go into the Underdark everything, including certain timed quests and the theif stronghold are essentially put on hold, since there is no possible way you could get back to the surface in a reasonable amount of time with the total amount of experience you could have at that point.

That's my opinion
