Watchers keep help {* minor spoilers in me qn*}

Can some1 pls tell me how to light the blue + purple bonfires to open the door in the lower levels of the watchers keep? (the part where the mad guy is trapped in the device)

Also for some reason the 2nd part of the illithid key is nowhere to b found
either it is a bug or I have missed it
but anyhow can some1 pls give me the CHEAT so I cld cheat it into me inventory?

(AND pls twell me where it *SHOULD* have been as well?)

When you get to lighting the torches, go to your map screen. It will become obvious what order to light them in.

I can't recall what key you're talking about. However, I do remember that one of the Illithid drop a rod, which opens one of the doors in that area. I don't think there is a 2nd part to it.

the rod is not on the corpse...its somewhere on the floor, if i recall correctly...hit tab, and search out the entire area...its quite easy to miss..

One half of the Rod is to the far south of the map - I'm pretty sure that's the one that is on the Illithid's body, so you have to kill everything to get it. I wonder if the Improved Mind Flayers (where they Dimension Door away if they're in trouble) can make that one impossible to get. The other half is due west from the first room you come to, in the floor.

They'll join together automatically & it's sometimes easy to miss it happening, so it's possible you found them both. If you were able to get the Red Oil from the Illithid Camp, then you had to have had both parts.

And IIRC, the rod disappears once you open the door with it.
