No more quests?

Hey, I just finished taking out Kangaxx (annoying, that one was) and I think I've done all of the quests possible. So, basically, I'm bored! I'm in Chapter 6, I have the thing for the elves (spoiler free!), but I don't want to continue yet. I have heard that a romance will stop, if in progress, when you start chapter 7, and I am romancing Jaheira, waiting to finish. Any suggestions? Is there any non-cheating way to hurry up the romance, like sleeping a lot, or traveling a lot? Mostly, I'm looking for some quests to do in the meantime. If there are any obscure quests you think I may have missed, please let me know.

I hate to break it to you, but romance dialogues are based on REAL time (as in REAL life). So no matter how long you sleep they only trigger after a certain amount of real time.
If you're strictly against cheating (which would be SO much easier

) there's one trick most people use:
1. Pause the game
2. Watch a little TV, fetch yourself something to eat or just go out buying groceries
3. When you come back after some time unpause and the next dialogue should have triggered.

oh, thanks, Faceman. That's really not cool! Anyways, I found something I could do for a short bit: The temple district houses a guarded building, so i checked it out for the first time. Yes, I know what's in their, now, but why is it a guarded complex? will i find out? if so, dopn't spoil me!

You probably already sort of found out (depending on who is in your party) but didn't put 2 and 2 together (like me and many others) and that's as much info as you're going to get from the game. Apparently, this is an incomplete quest. If you want a spoiler (or a partial one), let me know.

BTW, i have in my party: Mazzy, Minsc, Jaheira, Imoen, and Aerie

EDIT: This wouldn't by any chance have something to do with the twisted rune, would it? I did notice i got a rogue stone here, and some empty bottles. What are those for? I know there is some kind of draught in that twisted rune romm, could that be it? well, that's the only connection i can make.

iirc the romance timers are based on frame rate, you can up that a bit.

also w/ the jah romance if it's hanging up, best to go sleep in the woods (wilderness area, outside nalia's keep for example) it may be waiting for that to trigger.

Have you tried picking different pc's and doing all of thier quests? Or try some mods.

It would. I guess originally all the slaver related quests (Isaea Roenall, Twisted Rune, Copper Coronet, ...) were supposed to be linked somehow, but hte bigger story didn't make it into the game.

Oh yeah! I tried to get into Roenall's house before, as he is my enemy from the De'Arnise-thing. How do you get into his house in the Gov't District?

The interior of his estate is part of Nalia's quest. Many "can't get in" areas in the game are made that way to avoid screwing up a quest associated with certain recruitable NPCs.
