If you wish to avoid them, simply cast Invisibility on everybody (or Stealth if applicable) and walk past them.

You're up against a band of adventures: there's a theif which keeps turning invisible and backstabing, some magic slingers, a bunch of summoned creatures, etc. They're tough (as you already know).
Do not fight them on their turf. I suggest you buff up on the north side of the bridge, summon some expendable cannon fodder, er, I mean trusted elemental assistants, send a tank forward and then run back in order to draw the enemy across the bridge and into the teeth of your troops. Finish them off piece meal. You may want to have a detect invisibility spell ready to deal with that backstabbing thief. Additional option: disrupt the enemy more with an Entanglement, followed by a Cloudkill or series of Fireball spells. ![]()

Web + Cloudkill is usually an excellent combination. Also, you could summon an Aerial servant...if you've got level six spells, and at the moment, I can't remember if you have level 6 priest spells at the 12th level or not. Anyways, you DO have true sight, which will keep that irritating thief from hiding and backstabbing you all of the time. Another method, if you absolutely can't get past things, would be to cast outileks resilient(sp?) sphere on one of your characters, and use them to block the bridge, while the rest of your characters attack with ranged weapons.
