Mr Regeneration

I would like to create a fighter that can regenareate really fast! that would be cool! but what items give the best bonuses? and what races?

i was thinking this:
a dwarf through bg1 first so that he has 20 con (that gives regeneration, right?) with ring of gaxx, ring of regeneration, that ioun stone that regenerate...and some potions of regeneration to use always
he should have sheild too because he would have to try not to get hit...that way hell live londer and gets a chance to regenerate

are there anymore items to boost regeneration? cant really think of any more...
and is this charachter possible to make and have successful?

Regeneration dosnet normaly stack. If you have two items that provide the same rate of regen, itll stack, but if you had a ring of gaxx and a ring of regeneration you will just get the rate of the ring of gaxx. I am unsure whether natural regen from CON stacks as you would hope, but I suspect it obeys the same rules as other sources of regeneration.

There is one thing you can do to increase regeneration, use Haste. It doubles the rate. But even that isnt going to be all that much use later on.

that was not what i was hoping to hear...but not unexpected, or others would have discussed

someone should make a mod that allows it to stack, like with several rings, amulets and cloack of protection mod

Why? Sure regeneration is good but if you can buff up to the Sun there is no reason for it. But there is this big if... [img]tongue.gif[/img]

Sanchuudoku(Kuroisan-Tactics mod) offers a MAJOR regeneration, but that sword is just too cheesy to start with...

What!!?? I didn't know that. And I've been playing through half the game wearing Sanchuudoku, Ring of Gaxx and Ring of Regeneration!

the fastest regen is the spell, beats out everything...including shapeshifter rebalance and sanchu...

in fact, both the shapeshifter paw and sanchu have been nerfed. Sanchu regenerates slightly faster than the ring of gaxx now...and i think the paw's been nerfed too, can't remember...

but improve haste a fighter, after casting the regeneration spell on them, and they are completely unkillable...equipp foebane on main hand, sanchu on off hand, and you can go toe to toe with a dragon solo...
