I have a problem. Sometimes when i play BG II or ToB the game just crashes on desktop.

that happens to me with alot of games, indeed its rare, but when it happens, it is annoying! so far its happened with Morrowind(alot, i might add), Lionheart, Diablo2 and BG1&2. its nothing to worry about, like you said, just some tiny error within the machine that causes it to crash...

Right now in BGII I'm finding the game freezes when I enter the Gov't Building to get a Magic License..and when I enter the Lower Tombs of the Graveyard..I was to pissed to care if it freezes anywhere else, as these places worked earlier in the day. >_<
Ah well, Fallout 2 here I come!...again. |

GAME CRASHES STINK! [img]graemlins/1disgust.gif[/img]
BG2 on my PC at work crashes every now and then. At home it always crashes if I go too close to the front entrance of the D'Arnise Keep. My Battlefield 1942 games crash even more frequently.

To resolve this problem:
a) apply all updates to your OS (i.e. Windows users run Windows Update) b) update your graphics drivers c) run some form of system checking software to ensure hard drive/ram integrity Once you've done that, your system should be at least a little more stable. If the problem persists during bouts of heavy gaming, keep an eye on your CPU and graphics card temperatures, they can cause massive problems if they overheat. Good luck.
