Kelsey-TOB V2 Released!

After a wait that was entirely too long, I am proud to announce the release of Kelsey-TOB V2, the second and hopefully definitive release of the Throne of Bhaal portion of the Kelsey NPC mod for Baldur's Gate 2.

In addition to clearing up some lingering bugs, Kelsey-TOB V2 adds considerable new content to your BG2 experience, including:

- New banters with fellow party members
- New conversation with mage/sorcerer PCs
- Two new epilogues
- Expanded romance for Kelsey's relationships with the PC and Imoen
- New flirt content
- New voiced lines
- Full German and Spanish translations

For the uninitiated, Kelsey is a male human sorcerer NPC who will join your Baldur's Gate 2 party to help you defeat the foes encountered in Shadows of Amn and Throne of Bhaal. Kelsey can be played in a TOB-only game by being summoned from the Fate Spirit, or will transition over if the Kelsey-SOA mod (separate download) is also installed.

Kelsey is a romance-enabled NPC, which means he will initiate a romance with a female PC who is human, elven, half-elven, or halfling. While we think the romance is an important part of Kelsey's character, he is still a valuable and talkative addition to a party with a male PC, or a female PC who simply doesn't think Kelsey is her type.

Kelsey includes banter, interjection, and quest dialogue just like the official Bioware NPCs. Kelsey-TOB includes at least one banter with all Bioware NPCs, a romance with the PC that is longer than all of the official Throne of Bhaal romance tracks, a Kelsey/Imoen romance if the PC is "unavailable", and numerous comments and observations on the game's events as they unfold.

Kelsey is compatible with some of the more interesting mods out there, such as Solaufein. It is packaged as a self-extracting installer, and you do not need any extra tools to add Kelsey to your game.
