Uninstallation problem-the official site didn't help

Topic. ToB uninstalled fine, but SoA refuses to. It shows the uninstallation screen, and the bar on the bottom reaches 100%...at that point, the uninstall wizard thing shuts off. The game uninstalled normally the past 6 times...

Anyway, how can I uninstall it manually? Add/Remove program doesn't work, so I don't see any other options =p

That is a bit weird, but maybe you could reinstall it and uninstall it again? Just SOA I mean. Sounds silly but... it's all I can think of unless someone else makes more sense.

Run the setup.exe on the CD and reinstall it. Then uninstall it. Should work.

I'm trying to reinstall, lol. ToB wouldn't work, so I decided to reinstall the whole thing.
The thing is, the only option I have now is to uninstall or play. If I try to play, the game doesn't do anything as I have no SoA information on my computer anymore, and if I try to uninstall, I get the 100% thing, and the wizard closes.

Btw, how is it in Scotland? I love that place =)

Scotland is doing its usual trick of being all nice and sunny until I'm 20 minutes away from shelter, at which point the rain comes down.

And to reinstall, open up the SoA CD in explorer and run the setup.exe directly. The launch program is being confused, the setup should be OK though.

Can you give me more details? What explorer are you talking about? If it's not a hassle, a step-by-step version of your suggestion would be nice =)

"It's usual trick"-lol. If the rain doesn't come down, the vegetation doesn't survive, and Scotland loses its beauty =( I'm most likely visiting next year...oh, the excitement.

Go into 'My Computer', right click on your CDROM and hit 'Explore'

Scroll down a bit and you find a setup program.
