Anomen vs. Keldon

Anomen failed his test as of becoming a paladin in the order and was kicked out. And now when I have him in party with Keldon, Anomen atacks him and they fight and one of them dies. Is it possible to have both of them in party? Is there some quest, cheat or patch so that i can have them both in the party without risk?

I think Anomen and Keldorn h8 each others guts if Anomen doesnt pass his test. u shoulda past it really it wasnt hard. Anyway, he says somethin about keldorn in the temple when u offer to do that funny quest, cant remember much, i havent played BG2 in about 6 months, Icewind Dale, BG and Championship Manager in the way. soz

1) Anomen doesn`t have a test to become a Paladin... rather, a knight. [img]smile.gif[/img]
2) How to have both in your party... how about, have Ano pass his test ?? [img]tongue.gif[/img]

If Anomen fails his test and you have Keldorn in your party, they will get in a fight eventually (no way to prevent this).

If Anomen passes the test and becomes a Knight they will not fight, so you made the wrong chose

yes, i know, but it would be like to go a few month of playing back to make him not fail his test, which i certainly don't want. I really like the both - keldon has holy avenger and anomen is the best cleric+he's good in fighting too. If it's not possible to have both of them (loading every time they fight is anoying) than who would be a good replacement for either of them?

If you dont mind evil chars in your party :

Korgan for Keldorn
Viconia for Anomen

Otherwise,
depends on your PC. If you are a paladdin, keep Anomen, ditch Kelodorn otherwise ditch Anomen cos he is annoying and get / use Aerie and Jaheria for Cleric / healing / tanking.

Does Anomen get any special abilities after passing the test? Someone mentioned that he'll get better.

slackbladder, Viconia doesn't play well with Keldorn without mods, bearing that in mind, either make your own cleric or pick up Cernd (with the improved shapeshifter druid mod to make him worthwhile) or take a multiclass cleric like Aerie

Without spoiling too much, I'll say that for passing the test, Anomen gets a boost to one of his important stats.

My pc is a sorcerer and the only two clerics are aerie and anomen. I lost jahira to the curse and I didn't like her anyway. I was thinking of getting rid of Keldon for the guy from Umar Hills that opend the Planar Sphere. Is paladin really important? Also the other option would be replacing Anomen with Cernd, but he can't wear armor and has limited weapon use (and his shapeshifting isn't anything special) - he'd be the weakest party member. Or is there some stuff that can make him good?
