Ok, this is really wierd. Im playing with my mage/cleric in WK, in on lvl 3. this doesnt really have anything to do with my topic but it might be usefull infomation. anyway. i think this has happened before, but i cant remember. my party got injured in a battle, so i cast Heal with my mage/cleric. when i cast it, it says Wild Surge: Area of Effect or something to that extent then healed my entire party. not bad, i think. but it gets worse. i take the next portal and end up in the room with all the quasit wild mages. lots of wierd stuff goes on here, and my char gets polymorphed into a wolf! ahh! i think, this must be some spell from a wild mage quasit. After we kill them all, i change back. i cast another spell and i got into a nother wild surge, and i polymorph again! what is with this? is this some part of the game??? its really making me mad. im not a wild mage, i just want to be a mage/cleric.

Any ideas or anything? thanks for any help. currently i have installed:
Soa
Tob
ToB patch
ToB baldurash
Item upgrade
EoU
Sola

Thanks again.

The room with the quasits is a wild magic zone. Any spells you cast there are cast as if you were a wild mage, so you will suffer occasional wild surges there. Most other rooms in the keep are 'normal', so it won't happen when you cast spells there.

Several rooms on that particular level of Watcher's Keep are Wild Magic zones and every spell cast in them will result with a wild surge, which can be a good or (more often) bad.
Some rooms are Dead Magic zones and magic spells will not work there at all.
