Rest Problems

I had just got aeire for my party and when i returned to the wauken i got the quest about some theatre and after that i couldnt rest it sad something can't rest now or something like that you know what i mean i hhhheeeeelllllppppp!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You tried resting in a tavern right? sometimes it won't let you rest if your party is scattered...but then again it would have told you that. Also if something has just happend, say a fight or an FMV them somtimes it won't let me sleep either.

Have you tried leaving the map and staying somewhere else? eventually it should let you do it...its kinda picky sometimes [img]smile.gif[/img]

Do you have the latest patches and the Baldurdash fixpack? (Do I really have to start every post with this question?)

The best thing would be to load an earlier save.
If you don't have an earlier save or it is too far, do this:
go to another area,
the game will be autosaved,
try to rest,
if you still cannot, load the autosave.

It may be that someone was trying to talk to you, but never reached you, or the conversation didn't technically "end". While I was playing, the first time I went into the bridge district, yoshimo starts talking, and then I take two steps after that conversation and that guy says I owe him money. While I am in that conversation, a messenger comes up to me to tell me that Quayle needs help. After the conversation, I scrolled the text up and saw that I hadn't finished the conversation with the last guy. I tried the dialouge options, but nothing happened. I went up and talked to the guy and he called me a welsher. I decided to leave since I couldn't save, and thought I could use the autosave. The autosave never happened, it just loaded the new area. It was when you find a guy being attacked, and his attackers attack you since he is helpless. Once I finish that, I go back to the bridge district, and get attacked by the crazy cleric. Then I return the guy to the harpers, and I turn around and Xzar is asking me to save Montaron. Then Nalia asks me when we are going to help her. All that happened without me being able to save once, and then I decide to quit since I couldn't save. I had to go through it all again, except this time I could save since I wasn't interrupted. I think that if you can't save, you can't rest, so you may have the same problem I did.
