Ilyich got scared, where is he ?

I decided to have fun with a solo sorceress (inspired by XEN [img]smile.gif[/img] ) and went on to fight Improved Ilyich.

Had to do a lot of running but eventually brought Ilyich in that oval room where Otyugh is. I got him to badly injured and ran out of spells. So I escaped that room, closed the door, couldn't rest so I went through the portal to say hello to Yoshi. Rested (killed two thieves) , came back and NO Ilyich !
I went to all rooms and I can't find him.

Any ideas ?

The rest of his party is "pushing up daisies".

went to genie, he asked for the flask. I talked to dryads in there is no dialog option for the flask. ???

1. I dunno where Ilyich have hidden now. You might want to considered using CLUA to spawn him in. His code is DUECLA01.

2. The second time you talk to the dryads, the option with the flask should appear.

Common bug in this dungeon. Don't know what causes it, but all the members of Ilyich's party, including the demon have a nasty habit disappearing if you've activated them and then save or rest.

The only advice I can give you is to not rest or try to force a save (by entering the portal for instance) after you've activated their party. If you can do a normal save or a quick-save it should be safe though.

Common bug, Rataxes? I've never had anyone report it before. Do you have a reliable way of reproducing it so that I can try to fix it? It doesn't sound like fun.

Common for me anyway. I've soloed many fighters through that dungeon and always had to get rid of the demon by trapping him behind a set of doors. I would then have to forcesave with the portal since the game would still think that I was under attack. The demon disappeared after doing that, every single time.

As for the rest, Ilyich himself has disappeared a couple of times when I have battled him 1 v 1 and hidden behind a door to save during the battle. The rest of the party has only disappeared once, they've sometimes not been where they should after killing Ilyich, but they haven't disappeared more than once, this happened when I attracted the whole party to the central room but managed to shut the door after only Ilyich had gotten through. The rest was nowhere to be found when I opened the door again.

Disapearing Ilyich - happened to me once I was playing full party. I killed some of them, then escaped through the portal to take Yoshi, came back and they were gone. I searched the whole dungeon and couldn't find them. Then I went to the genie, talked, went for the flask, back to genie, took the sword, went outside and there they were - Ilyich and his party - just the way I left them.

THese things tend to happen alot, I once just started the game in the dungeon and when I went up to the first group of enemies(those little things wielding axes) They weren't there, so I went up to the Golem room, came back, and there tehy were ready to shoot arrows through my L7 Pally... Also, about the ememy dissapearing thing, I once lead Ilyich to the library, locked the door, rested and came back to find noone there, so I went to the Round room(with that big monster) and found him there pissed.
