I'm finally getting to understand the IEEP tools, but I have a few questions regarding the pictures of the items:
What file controls the picture of the item in your Inventory slot? How do I change it?
What file controls the "airborne" picture of the item as you're moving it from one slot to another? How do I change it?
What file controls the picture of the item shown in the Item Description? How do I change it?

Thanks in advance for any help!

On the first tab of the IEEP, where it has the base price, stack maximum, etc., it shows ICON REFERENCES. Under that it has inventory, ground, description, and destroyed. Say if the item you used for your pictures was SW2H02. In the inventory space, you have to put an I in front of the file name. Ex.-ISW2H02. Put a G for the ground space, and a C for desc. pic. Extract some already made items from the game if you have't already, much easier than making items from scratch. Just choose the certain effects that you want.

Basically, you just use the name of the file and add the appropriate letter in front of it.

Okay, cool, thanks. One more thing: How do I edit the files, for instance if I want to change the coloring on the icons or alter the Item Decription picture? Are the .BAM files as easy to edit as your everyday bitmaps?

Not sure, I've never tried that. You could try the TeamBg forums for that.

These are bitmaps. Just download BAMworkshop.

Hey, thanks for the link, Vedran!

Yeah, I thought they were bitmaps, but Paintbrush didn't want to load any, and neither did my MGI Photosuite program, which seems to handle every type of graphics file on the planet. It even handles *PNGs, and I've never even heard of those.

*.png is what Macromedia Fireworks saves as
And they`re one of the only three filetypes that display properly no matter what browser you use...
