Am I lost? This doesn't look like the BG board to me... well, it had better be the BG2 board, 'cause I've got a BG2 question.
I'm a big fan of the so-called narrative walkthroughs, where a walkthrough of the game told through roleplay, usually through the eyes of the main character. I read a BG2 guide like this once, that involved a true neutral ranger. I tried to find the website that hosted the guide again, but alas, it was not to be found. Does anyone know where I can find a narrative walkthrough of SoA?

There's a very specific and long one for a solo mage, for both SoA and ToB.

Well, it IS the BG2 forum. However, I don't know about narrative walkthroughs. Your best bet's probably trying here.
