I'm just wondering, ive seen a lot of nice Nicknames here on the Forum (don't know if there is a thread about this already,, if so plz direct me 2 it)

Do they al have a meaning or are they just randomly picked...?

just wanna know because sounds like a lot of fun, of what people can come up just for a name (special character in BG II or Tolkien or somehing)

just use this post to explane your NickName on this Forum.

Annatar is from the Tolkien series, the Silmarilion to be precise... (look at my sig)

Quoted from the Silmarilion (sorry for my bad translation but I'm from Holland so )

Annatar: Lord of the Gifts, the name Sauron gave himself at the end of the second Era, in that beautiful form he was amongst the Eldar that stade in Middle-Earth

Well Mordamir is the name of a powerful mage in a Nintendo game called "The Immortal". Pretty cool game...you´re a powerless mage travelling in a dungeon fighting orcs and the like to defeat his master, Mordamir

Also that´s also the name of Merlin´s evil apprentice...but I don´t know much about that one

Nice topic though...keep posting guys!

I will let this thread stay. As I suppose it can be relevant since most of the users' names are D&D inspired.

The same way I think, because the General Discussion forum (ive looked it up) is really OVERCROWDED ... and indeed what Dundee said, most of the names are linked to D&D and other RPGS and Books that are linked to Adventure and Dungeon crawling ...

euhm an off-topic question... how can I quote somebody because I keep doing it like ''paste'' euhm ''paste'' and ''copy''....look above
