jaheira quest - question

another question on a different matter,

i had jaheira join just to do her quest well i did the baron ployer bit......but the harper bit isnt coming along, meantime shes hoggin up exp points

how do i trigger the harper part / speed it up
and i tried kicking her out of my party n she says something about hoow she doesnt know me n the harpers been keepin tabs then harpers appear n they all try to kill me (im neutral evil)

so i reckon i gotta do the quest now

You just have to travel around a bit, as the harper bit kicks off during one of the "random" encounters when you're surrounded by enemies and have to defend yourself. During one of those encounters, there's a dying person lying on the floor asking you to return to the Harper Hideout. Return him there, and when you're turning around, you'll stumble into Xan, which will trigger the Harper quests. [img]smile.gif[/img]

If you kicked her out of your party, I do not think the romance will work again. Check your globals.

Sorcerers.net has a great site that details every romance down to the individual lovetalk occurrence. Very thorough. And, the one rule of thumb they provide regarding Jaheira is never, ever, ever kick her out of your party.

Dunno for sure. I did the Jaheira romance all the way through with no cheats, and with few bug problems.

I recently went through the harper quests; without romancing Jaheira. Once you have done the Xzar quest, wait around for a few days and Jaheira should be asked to report back to the Harper Hold. Go with her for a showdown inside. After that, I kept her a couple more days, during which I ran into another group that attacked me (rep was 11 or 12). Then I got Edwin and Jaheira just had to go.

My point is that I believe you can get to the quests where you fight at the Harper Hall and such _faster_ if you are not romancing Jaheira. When I did the game with her romance, those quests seemed to come later, and may have been timed with the romance progress.

i dont care about the romance, at all
im with vic ,

i just want the exp for killing the harpers n such
but right , i trigger it by returning that dying guy to the harper hold, i threw him in my planar sphere eheh hope hes still alive.
