Will killing or pickpocketing the waterwitch effect my reputation? I have this thing about it staying at 20...even outrun the Flaming Fist Guards and let them take occasional swipes at me. Am I wasting my time trying to maintain this good rep? Will I lose it all in the end anyway? (Feel like breaking into song here

You can kill the "waterwitch" without having rep losts. As for the guards, you can fight them with your fists so that they knock out, that way you wont lose rep.
