hi,
Well this is my situation. I am very very new to the gaming world. I got married and for a wedding gift one of my husbands friends gave us the baldur's gate series. So, I wanted to know what my husband spends all his time doing, so I wanted to play the game. I am stuck in the tower, 3rd level, the maze with the directions on the floor. I have killed all the "things" there, but can't get to the next level. What do I need to do, pick up to go down a level? I keep going in circles. I would be greatful for any help out there. Thanks |

First and foremost, welcome to Ironworks! [img]graemlins/happywave.gif[/img]
Ok, spoilers to follow. [img]smile.gif[/img] * * * * * I assume you have already talked to the madman? In his 'tent', you will then find a broken rod. Or atleast a rod, which lacks three gems. Your task on this level is now to collect the three gems, so that you can use the rod to get out, or atleast further down. Now, go back to the room with the arrows, or where it says E, N, W and S. Follow these dircetions from there: East East South South South West North North North North (this is from the top of my head) In each room, kill all enemies, and you will eventually end up with all 3 gems. In the last room, the portal downwards also is located.
