I have seenn many posts for 'most hated' parts of the game so I thought why not look on the bright side. I like Minsc, I think he most represents my personality .

The most interesting NPC's that I found were Jan (god bless that rambling gnome)
a pretty good thief/mage combo, and my all time favorite Korgan. Sure he's evil
and doesn't get along with anybody, it adds to his charm.Nobody can argue that no one in the game says "bastards" more than him. And come on if you don't take him you will never hear the expression "lant gulping dirt shute". Not only is he humourous but he really kicks a%$ as a fighter.
Minsc is OK ,but he kinda gets old quick and seems to have poor saving throws verus everything.

These are just my humble opinions.

Hmm, hard to say. I'm not sure if I can choose out just one favourite any longer, so if I'm allowed, I'd rather split them up in categories:

Most damage-dealing NPC: Korgan
Most useful NPC: Depends. Either Anomen or Aerie
Best spellcaster: Edwin, no doubt
Funniest NPC: Hard call. I'd say a combo of Minsc and Jan
Gives the party a best atmosphere: Also tough. Haer'Dalis or Yoshimo

My favorite is Mazzy- great archer great personality although I must admit I'm also rather partial to Jan who makes me laugh and whose thief/mage skills are very useful in any party.

Edwin is certainly at the top of my list, by quite the distance.
His interjections are hilarious, he is sophisticated, he has an excellent sound set, and, in regard to his sound set, you must agree that he has the best NPC quest.

And there's that thing about him being a godly Mage and all...

Reading all this good stuff 'bout our NPC's, I feel like setting up a Pro-NPC clan again

If you have Anomen and Edwin in your group, Anomen will say something really funny when Edwin turns female.

Edwin, Jan and Viconia are my favourite NPC's. Edwin and Jan both being very funny, and Viconia having the best romance options.
