Spells and magic resistance...

Is there a list of all the spells that ignore magic resistance? That would be usefull, I only know of 2-3 spells that do.

i only know imprisonment and maze spells.

Maze does not ignore Magic Resistance.

Magic Resistance er... ignores Magic Resistance, but the target must be non-hostile.

Spell Thrust, Secret Word, Lower Resistance, Pierce Magic, Khelben's Warding Whip, Ruby Ray of Reversal, Pierce Shield and Spellstrike also ignores Magic Resistance.

Sunfire is debatable, as are Incendiary Cloud and Meteor Swarm.

Dundee, why is Sunfire debatable? As long as it cast by your party, it does bypasses Magic Resistance. Meteor Swarm and Incendiary Cloud needs more testing.

Maze is indeed susceptible to MR.

Here are the spells that i know of which bypasses Magic Resistance, and actually worth to cast on the enemy:

Contains ToB Spells!

Arcane:
--------

All the spell protections removals
Strength - level 2
Teleport Field - level 4
Sunfire - level 5
Breach - level 5
Lower Resistance (obviously ) - level 5
Imprisonment - level 9
Dragon's Breath - High Level Ability

Divine:
--------

Magic Resistance (problematic, as Dundee mentioned) - level 5
Bolt of Glory - level 6
False Dawn - level 6
Sunray - level 7
Earthquake - level 7 (not 100% sure about this)
Implosion - High Level Ability

These are all that i can think of... Anything else?

Oh, and never forget - all the Magic Resistance in the world can't stop a summon from hitting.
