Did you read the scraps of paper lying around?
SPOILERS>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> . . . . . . . . . Turn the fan in the fan room on to high, and open all the doors between the poison room, the fan room and the ice rtoom. This will blow the poison into the ice room, making the ice guardian vulnerable.
