I have beat SoA many times, i rescently got ToB. Alright, here it goes:
What classes are the most fun/best/whatever? I have already played as: Human Cavalier Half Orc Barbarian Halfling Swashbuckler Human Kensai Human Kensai/Mage Human Sorceror (God) Human Monk (Also God) Its not that impressive of a list i realize. I was thinking perhaps an archer or a stalker. I was also considering a shapeshifter...but i like weapons...i went into withdrawl when i played my monk. Fists are cool...but a good hammer is amazing. I also realized that i never used the Celestial Fury...i always gave it to Jan. But what are good weapons in ToB. If i could dual wield the Celestial Fury with something i would be a happy person. My friend said he dualed the Crom Fayre and some +5 Rune war hammer. Are there anyother good Katanas? 2) could someone give me a link to any NPC mods...i never got any before. I've heard they are fun. Basically, any suggestions on class and weapons that do well in ToB. I appreciate it -Tiresius-

i've been playing a kensai and loving it
it's proably the best class for dual wielding, generally i've been using it and the defender of easterhaven(bonus merchants) but other combinations include foa, crom faeyr, blackrazor, hindo's doom, foebane +5, foa+crom faeyr foa+defender crom+defender cesfur+any of them are all intresting combos [ 11-26-2002, 08:51 PM: Message edited by: Angelousss ]

1) other than duplicating what you've mentioned, & assuming you are playing with a party rather than solo, a Fighter dualling Crom Faeyr & the Runehammer (which you will get in ToB) is fun, as is a Mage/Thief, as is a Druid (most of which are very powerful, can hold their own, & fun in their own right, but occasionally need an NPC to step up & do something they can't).
2 ) go to www.teambg.net/forum/?board=58;action=display;threadid=4571 & look over the stuff listed there. The main thing to remember is that *not all Mods are compatible* (which I've found out through trial & error) but the forums there will give you a good idea of what to try together. Most WeiDU Mods (you'll see) are compatible with each other, though. - Imrahil |
