Alright, this thread if about one of the most FABULOUS NPCs... JAN JANSEN!!! I know he has some of the funniest dialogs, especialy with minsc, anyone know a site where you can find some that people sent it, or just post em on here if you want.

One more thing, before you heard em say his name, did you call him "Yawn Yawnsen" (like its supposed to be), or J-an (like jam with a "n") J-an-son (like i still call him ).

Gotta love Yawn. Funny little fella, and master pickpocketer.

I thought of something that he might be good for, but i havent got the chance to try it out yet. When he gets high enough level of course i will try it.

I just hope that imp alacricity works with potions, or is it only spells?

Improved alacricity, then tensors transformation. followed by pot after pot of invisibility for some serious backstabbin' fun.

Btw, has anyone tried this yet, and if so, does it work?

Improved Alacrity does not apply to potions. However... all you need is a level 6 spell.

!!MISLEAD!!

Hide the illusion where the sun don't shine and proceed to backstab as many times as you can before the spell expires.

Improved Alacrity is a level 10 spell from ToB that removes the pauses between spellcasting.

Well... I called him Yawn, as you will, but the name Jan Jansen is a typical Dutch name. Really average around here, so I couldn't pronounce it any different.

i like jan if for no other reason than he's the only thief that can level up, somebody posted the idea for an all mage party, and i thought it'd be a good idea so right now i have a sorc. pc, a wildmage(cause i've never played one), jan, aerie, nalia, and imoen when i go to spell hold, i'll proably do the keep, windspear then go get little sis.

Hilarious set of circumstances led to a battle in the middle of the council of six building. I have improve waylays and entered the government(cause all mage needs a liscence and i needed jan), well we got attacked and spoken to so i had to rush though a converstation while a bunch of people are beating on my party.run into the council building to avoid the cowls and start launching magic missles and fire arrows at the bandits while the govenment watches and two guards attack, worked out ok though only aerie died and she proably would have survived if it weren't for the conversation
