Having just started the game is it necessary to kill either or both the sewage or jailkeep golem and if so HOW does one kill BOTH. I have completed everything else in Irenicus's dungeon but want to get as many XP as possible. I know that the wand of cloudskill can do the job on the jailkeep golem but do not know how to kill the sewage golem as well.

It isn't necessary to kill either golem. I believe that the sewage golem is unkillable because he is needed to finish the dungeon (although some players steal the key from him).

A staff+1 will work fine on the jailkeep golem, netting you 5000XP. He will not resist your attacks.
