What should my Wild Mage stats look like at the begginning of SoA? I'm having trouble as soon as the enemies get close and I have no timestop or anything... Also, I am gonna dual-class to a ranger later

I dunno about the other stuff but I don't think you can dual mage to ranger.

Can't dual class to ranger...only clerics can, and only under certain circumstances.
Stick to summon spells near the beginning. Any kind of invisibility is key. Haste is good too, to run away. Use Reckless Dweomer a lot, after all, you are a Wild mage. [img]tongue.gif[/img]

Oh, meant to add, 'bout the stats.
ST-12 or so DEX-18 or 19 (if you're gonna dual 18) CON-16 (no higher) INT-18 (duh) WIS-18 (wish) CHA-Makes no difference

does anyone know how to calculate/determine the chances of getting higher lvls while you are casting a spell? coz when i cast a spell i always get lower lvls.. i cast for like 10 spells, only about 1 or 2 get higher lvls... is there a way to increase the chances of getting higher lvls?
