Question about Experience Points and Levels

Hi,

I am currently on Chapter7. When this chapter started I was on something like 2950000 experience points, and a level 19 fighter. I have fought every monster in this chapter (just about to enter palace) but my experience points are still the same and no levels up. Some of the monsters has massive experience points in this chapter. I use the core rules if this makes any difference. Any ideas coz I'm totally confused???

2,950,000 is the Xp cap for SoA.

Thanks for that. Is that just for my own character or for all NPC's?

For all. In the case of multiclassed and dualclassed characters, the sum Xp total of all their classes may not exceed 2,950,000.

Its for everyone, though i just removed the XP cap today, because im falling short of getting to Lv.18 by 50000 XP points (ive gotta battle Irenicus!),ive got a question do NPC's who've reached the cap continue to recieve their share of experience points, or are they excluded from it?

The Xp will continue to be shared.

To get rid of it, either install Throne of Bhaal, or download the XP-cap remover.
