Playing Solo or Whit NPC-anwer number 3

OK now i am going to tell you ybout my Beserker style.Well i was thinkining obout this.i decided to play whit to 2 NPC´s or MAYBE 3.MY Party:

Me-berseker
Imoen(just to athkatla irenicus kiddnapes her remember)
Yoshimo(i will "trade" him for Imoen in dreams)
So Me and Imoen(becuase she is a Mage/Thief) and probably Korgan..haha.
So this is it...about my solo playing i was thinking Wizard Slayer/Thief(i have read obout this on Gamebanshee.com) so please give me an advice..

1. With your Berserker, I'd reconsider the NPCs. Imoen is Neutral Good, and Korgan is Chaotic Evil. That doesn't add up too well. Plus that Imoen/Yoshimo really isn't the best to take along.
If you're planning to be somewhat evil, I'd rather use this party:
-Berserker
-Korgan
-Jan
Korgan is an excellent Fighter, as you know, and Jan is IMHO a better Thief, and a decent Illusionist. This party has no Cleric, but I take that that isn't too important for you.
If you're 'good', though, then I'd keep the party as it was, just switch Korgan with Keldorn.

2. Wow, I've never tried a Wizard Slayer/Thief. Short of any advices here. [img]tongue.gif[/img]

Xen, just build whatever party you want and MAKE it work. As long as you've got at least one of the major class groups (Warrior, Priest, Thief, Wizard), you cannot go wrong, or at least not too far wrong. Note, however, that there are 2 NPC Thieves in the game who actually cannot level up as Thieves: Bear that in mind if you plan to use them for the long term.

As for the Wizard Slayer/Thief idea: I won't give advice to powergamers. If you want your sum total of ideas about the game come from GameBanshee.com instead of from your own head, be my guest.

If it is your first game, why the heck are you thinking of playing solo??
