Question Mark Molkar and Lamalha gone - why?

Started a new journey along the Swordcoast (to be taken to Amn soon) with a load of mods coming with the BiG World Setup. Now I can't find Molkar (on the Gullykin map) and Lamalha (on the Valley of Tombs map) and their parties of assassins. They are simply not where they used to be. Other parties have appeared normally i.e. Kirian and friends at Mutamin's Garden. Also the single assassins all made their appearance properly. That's why I have no idea which mod might be responsible. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

There are mods that move the location of assassin parties,,, it's done to dampen down the "prior knowledge" aspect. You probably installed that feature of the mod. I don't remember for sure but I suspect the culprit mods might be BG2 Tweaks(if you're running TuTu) or Sword Coast Stratagems. The only way to know for sure is to go to your BG install folder and find the "WeiDu.doc" file, open it, and it will tell you what's installed,,, mod-wise.

Thanks Elfbane. Looks like you put me on the right trail. Sword Coast Stratagems relocates exactly those two bounty hunter parties (according to the readme). I have played with the mod before and remember the parties appeared quite early in the game at a different location. That's why I was baffled. My party has an average of level 6 now - and no ambushes so far. But seemingly a newer version of SCS (automatically downloaded by BWS) makes sure they don't appear (at a random time) before you're in chapter 3 and above level 3. So I simply have to keep waiting. Though they won't be much of a challenge anymore now. Thanks again.
